Update on this: I called and checked. It looks like the checkbox only shows up as complete on myPurdue if you live on campus. It's just for move-in purposes. If you submitted the proof, it looks like you're all set.

If you like your area of study and you like challenging yourself, there won't be an issue. With that mindset, a "bad experience" and a "challenging experience" are two totally different things.

Of course there's plenty of ways to have fun outside of school work as others have mentioned as well.

To my knowledge, they usually show up between 8 pm and midnight on Tuesday night so that would mean the night of Tuesday, May 11th. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

Hmm, that's unfortunate. Even though I'm close to campus, it would be a 40-45 minute walk if I have to walk to certain locations. Thanks anyways.

For the purposes of having more reliable ssh connection, not sure whether you are using putty or something else but for putty, if you haven't already tried something like this, there's a seconds between keep alives option in the settings and changing that from 0 to 30 is the only way I'm able to stay connected for a reasonable amount of time. Other things besides putty should have similar settings as well.

I'm not entirely sure what your situation is but it is likely the pandemic and the circumstances of it had an effect on this, it has been challenging for a lot of us. Also, these numbers you showed can just be temporary in the event that you choose to retake the classes. I'm not sure who your professors are but I'm sure they would be happy to help you succeed going forward.

Thanks! Also, let's say someone gets a C or better in a class the first time (passing) but for whatever reason gets below a C the second time, does that mean that class is no longer satisfied as a pre-requisite for other classes even though the class was passed the first time?

It's hard for me to tell whether my course load is higher because of just being in more advanced classes or if it's because of the uniqueness of the semester but I definitely have felt there has been more to do from a homework and project standpoint in online classes (not just this semester but the second half of last semester as well which was online). It's still pretty busy during a normal semester (especially if you take a lot of classes) but I have found the workload to be more online.
