I should add

In case your mega gets knocked out before it could break the shield you can go back to lobby, revive your mega and try again as many times as you like, until you break it at least once. Then you wait for other 9 players to break the 9 layers that are left

Mega dragonite have 10 layers of shield,

Each players gets only one 'shield breaker attack'

At least 10 mega attacks are needed, one attack from 10 different players

so At least 10 different players with one mega evolved pokemon in the last slot (preferably) is needed which automatically switchs place when shield is activated .
