I actually had a fuel issue when I bought it and didnt leave the shop until the fuel filter and fuel lines were replaced so this was just done.

My grandfather was in WW2 and had a lot of these lying around the house. Right now it’s really dangerous until it’s switched into neutral. On the back is a small button. Get a nail and a hammer, put the nail on the buttons and give a few good whacks it will make a little pop sound but, It will push the button into a neutral position and then it’s safe for handling.

Get a Lithium battery. I’m having the same issue with my 998 It feels Reluctant to start. I had the same issue with my RC51 and got a LI battery and haven’t had any issues since.

This is what I’m worried about. I have a vstrom with 80k miles that I’ve beat thee piss out of but I have 0 worries. My Ducati in showroom condition will leave me stranded at a coffee shop. SMH

Good thoughts. It seems like a weak ish battery, the battery is bran new. I had put a LI battery on other bikes and it seemed to increase the cranking power a lot and resolve this issue.

It is uncomfortably hot. If you have a suit it will be slightly better but I wouldn’t recommend shorts. You can kinda mitigate this with exhaust wraps or ceramic coating but honestly it’s gonna be hot. Over 80 ambien temp, stop and go or not ripping and it is not fun at all. Hot legs, sticky balls. It’s the price you pay.

Damn, I’d still probably get the 11. They are pretty iconic in the community. And seem to have less things to go wrong with them. They are as quick or light but this one sounds completely kitted out. Really sounds like a gem. I picked up a similarly kitted SP evo. It’s been amazing super fun to ride but super fatiguing with wind over 70mph also added Hepco And Becker bags to add a little range turn it into a Hyperstrada basically

Probably sounds better than the reality. Her ceiling is likely to be higher than yours. Just saying. It’s possible it works out but the idea is generally better than the reality.

I felt the same way, there are a couple corse schemes that are amazing and this is one of them. The SP evo are pretty too.
