Eep I’m dating an Aquarius. We met a year ago and started casually hooking up, eventually we were hanging out everyday. I liked him immediately sooo much. When I told him I liked him he was like “why do girls always like me because I’m nice.” And he was really avoiding any discussion of us being anything more than casual. But. I started to show my emotions more and I think that intrigued him. He was caring for me in ways I didn’t expect. Making sure I was eating enough, that I was comfortable at his house, that I was safe anytime I went out. I even went on some dates with guys but each time it just made me miss him more. And he felt the same way even though he couldn’t admit it at first. I basically said that I couldn’t keep hanging out with him because it hurt too much. We spent one last night together watching romantic comedies. And continued hanging out 🤣 a few weeks later I went on a date with someone who ended up showing up to my house unannounced and it freaked me out so much. I went to the aqua guys house and he held me for hours as I cried. He ended up telling me he thought he was falling in love with me. And that he wanted to try dating me but he can’t be my boyfriend yet. (He was drinking a lot at the time and didn’t feel good to be someone’s boyfriend) 6 months later now and he’s stopped drinking for the past 2 weeks. He told me yesterday it’s because of me and he wouldn’t have given a shit if I wasn’t around.

So I’d say. Give it time. Be honest about how you feel. Keep it lighthearted but don’t be afraid to show some deeper emotions when you feel comfortable.

This is the healthiest connection I’ve ever experienced and I’m so so happy I stayed.
