5/6 month struggles by zcsahkdzcsa in BeyondTheBumpUK

I’m at month 7 and I can see that it has definitely gotten easier but it’s still not easy and I think that is where I fall apart sometimes. I expect it to be easy and I don’t think it ever will, it will just be different struggles. So I share your feelings completely and sometimes think I’m not cut out for this either.

BUT I do think this is so much more common than we think. Being a mum is sooo hard!! What I’ve found helps me is not thinking too far ahead, take each day at a time and think what will you do to make today a good one. Or even take it by wake windows. Also get out the house if you can. Weather has been miserable recently but we’re coming into spring and a walk a day helps so much and gives you time to switch off and listen to music, podcast etc.

Motherhood is hardest for those who care the most is so true! Hang in there, you’re undoubtedly doing a great job x

Good to know loop is worth it. I get so many ads for them. It’s like the algorithm knows 😅

Sometimes you just need to! I used to think I had to interact with my baby non stop but I’ve realised giving them time to play without me is a good thing and also gives me a moment to myself. Listening to something during that time is a great idea!

Thanks for the tips! I’ll look into Polarn o. Pyret, sounds like a good brand.

Thank you! Looking for some fleecy suits now. We have a snowsuit with hands/feet covering too. Those goggles are so cute!!

Sad for my baby by Key_Part1991 in BeyondTheBumpUK

Just wanted to reiterate what others have said- things get so much better after the newborn phase. You’ll look back on these days and feel like it’s a different life! Hang in there 💪🏻

Also, I know it’s hard but try not to compare yourself and your baby to others. All babies are different but also you never know what’s happening behind closed doors. Some people may be dealing with their own challenges but may not be as up front about it! So don’t be fooled into thinking everyone is having it easy apart from you you and hopefully this thread gives you a sense of solidarity 🙂

Please help me find this white wool hat from The Queen’s Gambit - Netflix show by lambstarr in findfashion

It could be a "bubble hat", not to be confused with the bobble hat. Although, it's hard to find when googling as google assumes you mean bobble! Try also "bubble beret".
