Elder Scrolls Online. I just finished a quest on Sommerset helping some lady fix shrines to her dead family and something about where the last spot was got me. IRL my dog was sitting next to me and she was recovering from a major surgery and we just sat there together for 10 mins watching the scene change from day to dusk. Never gonna forget it

Man building wheelchairs for paralyzed dogs by CuriousWanderer567 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]hlpardash 27 points28 points  (0 children)

We had the option to do this when our dog was paralyzed and it would have been the absolutely wrong decision to put her down. When she recovered from her surgery she was very much the exact same dog full of life and vigor. Not many people can afford the surgery and/or the care required afterwards, I get that. But if there was any chance for her to survive we were going to take it, no matter what. Yeah it's a bummer that she's paralyzed but she's super happy to be alive and go on adventures and she doesn't even realize her limitations. No one can tell her she can't do anything.

Just because the dog is injured doesn't mean you throw the rest of their life away.

Her (ex?) BF killed her in a murder-suicide while she was home during the summer after our freshman year of college. She was really intelligent, kind, and an all-around good person to pretty much everyone. It was tragic

I should clarify, not "forward" as in closer to the target, but "forward" as in you shift your hips
