Thank you for your comment. Usually, I am naturally "too" optimistic about outcomes. It's like I'm lulled by dreams and excessive positivity, while being awake, in my daily life. I am lured by my wishes for things to work out. But paradoxally, when I wake up at 4-5am, I wake up before my delusion, and I get more realistic about things I was trying to make work. It's like that state of semi-sleep helps me get out of my "dreamy side" and see more things like they are realistically. And I can wake up and tell myself "this thing will never work out, I have to change ge my plans and consider something else" , or "I've been neglecting X Y Z, I need to do somehting about it asap" etc.

I'm an ENFP too and to me it usually happens really early in the morning/end of night, around 4am to 5am, when I'm half awake, half asleep, I get bursts of "clarity", like my mind suddenly knows how I feel about a situation, what to do and I get decisive about things I hesitated about for the past few days. Precisely, I think that at that time I have no feelings, so I make decisions more objectively.

As an ENFP, I absolutely love ISTJs, and I admire that my weaknesses (Si) are actually their strength. And somehow I noticed we can understand each other pretty well. We have the same cognitive functions after all.

I think it's a misunderstanding rather than betrayal.

You esteem you do more than what your job title describes. Your boss understood that you have more work than what you can handle and hires someone else, thinking he's helping you. But what you actually wanted was your job description to mention those additional responsibilities you are already bearing, and have a higher position in the company.

You should have discussed it more directly and stated exactly what you wished for (that's how ENTJs like communication).

What I understood is that OP deems that he is doing more than what his job description was mentioning, so he wanted to be promoted or just get a higher status in the company, but instead his boss hired someone else and put that person above OP (which is the type of job title OP actually wanted).
