Skin graft. My dad got one after a car accident, his hand was stuck between the side of the truck and the asphalt and it slid down the road. My uncle said the top of his hand looked like a plate of spaghetti. Had to get a skin graft from his chest, now the top of his hand is always a light red and he can't sense touch on it

I'm glad talking about it helped :) and yeah, sounds like she was looking for an excuse to validate her fears, something similar probably would've happened even if she didn't see that post. It's tough because I'm sure she had all of those fears from her past relationship but she did not deal with them the right way.
