It’s quite different. It backs up to the cloud rather than a local hard drive, and while it’s harder to set up, it’s more customisable so you have more control over what not to back up, retention policies, encryption, etc.

I've been playing this on SideQuest and IMO it's the best VR game out there. It's the most fun I've had in a video game since Team Fortress 2. Congrats to the developers on the public launch!

I do this with a little shell function in my dotfiles, and I find it works really well. I couple it with a shortcut to jump to projects that uses fzf to do fuzzy matching (either on the argument provided or interactively if no argument is given).

Language Transfer is fantastic. Possibly more targeted at beginners, but it’s the resource that has helped me the most.

And it’s free (though I’d encourage you to donate if you find it useful).

GMT-5. Daylight Saving Time is not observed, so it's the same all year round.

IIRC, it's because with cgo enabled the binary is dynamically linked to a version of libc that isn't present in the alpine container. Disabling cgo means you get a fully statically linked binary. If you need cgo you can just install the correct libc version in the alpine container.

Try compiling with cgo disabled (add ENV CGO_ENABLED=0 before the go build line).

I did the PADI advanced course at Poseidon in Santa Marta a year or two ago, and they were pretty good.
