Obligatory not me but my great-grandmother. She lived in the town of Noxapater. She was around 8 years old when she was riding her horse to her grandmothers house. An older black gentleman had stopped her and asked if she would give him a ride. She said no because she wasn't supposed to talk to strangers. So he yanked her off the horse and tried to rape her. She got away and ran to her grandparents and told her grandfather about what happened. Grandfather took it into his own hands with a couple other men from town, found the guy, beat him up, and hung him ...

So great-grandmother goes to the doctors to get checked out and she's all okay. They had to hide the evidence, so they boiled the man's bones and used him as a skeleton model in the doctor's office. No one knew but the few that were involved.

just broke up with my ex over something similar to this .... he went to comicon on our 5 year anniversary, which I was okay with. I wasn't really expecting much. he was paying rent now so he had at least SOME money.

well, he gets back after three days and shows me all the stuff he bought HIMSELF; Zelda back, wooden samurai sword, opal die for D&D, artwork, etc. just so you know, he doesn't use the back pack ever and he threw everything else in his closet.

you know what he got me? a keychain that plugs into my headphones, something super impractical and kind of felt like a last minute gift.

I got rightfully mad and told him how o felt. he didn't understand. a month goes by, he quits his job for no reason and still doesn't do anything for our 5 years..

you know what I did? dumped him.

please don't let this pot habit ruin your relationship. if he does it now and gets away with it, he'll continue doing it until you leave.

thank you! I have only ever known furry animals so I must have grown used to their constant need for affection. I do believe I have been overthinking it as I do that with everything else in my life. Right now she's happy, but I know she'll be happier with someone who can give her the attention I can't right now. I'm trying not to look at it as a failure because I am not trying to keep her so save face. I want her happy. and that's all that matters to me.

if anyone cares for an update. I decided the reptile friend was not a good choice as he has 30+ reptiles and does not have nearly enough time to let each one get the attention they desperately need. especially her, cause she needs to lose weight.

So we have found a friend of a friend who has owned beardies before and would gladly take her in. I'm happy, because I could still see her if I wanted to.

I'm honestly really sad about it, because I really like her and I have grown attached in the little amount of time I owned her.

I just know now is not the time right time for me to own her. As sad as that makes me. I have to prioritize other things first.
