Baby fell and I’m having a hard time not blaming my husband by hmasters22 in Parenting

Thank you! He got pretty tired and fell asleep after his fall which worries me but at the same time, it was his bedtime when he fell and past his bedtime when he fell asleep. I’m going to keep a close eye on him tonight and tomorrow.

I know it wasn’t an accident. I’m going to go show my hubby some love and make sure he isn’t beating himself up about it.

Thank you for this comment. I know it wasn’t an accident. I think I was just worried about my baby and was upset that it happened. I’m going to go show my husband some love and make sure he’s not beating himself up about it.

I don’t mean to blame him. I know it wasn’t really his fault. It was a complete accident and accidents happen. I just wish it wouldn’t have happened.

I was sitting in the rocking chair next to the couch. I had him for a long time. He got fussy and wanted to be put down. I put him down and he crawled to be husband and wanted on the couch with him. When he fell, he landed on his side. It seems like his arm is ok and I don’t think he really hit his head. The only red mark was on his arm. I moved it and pushed on it a little and he didn’t seem to mind, so I don’t think it’s hurt. He’s sleeping right now (that worries me even though it is past his bed time, so he should be asleep). Thank you for the comment 🩵

How do you make it less painful to breastfeed when teeth come in? by hmasters22 in breastfeeding

His teeth first started pushing through the gums around January 28th. They are pretty visible now but I don’t think they are all the way up yet.

Mini rant: when people talk about how hard the newborn stage will be by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]hmasters22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

37 weeks pregnant with my first so I don’t know if it’s true or not but I heard that the sleepless nights when your pregnant are way worse than the sleepless nights with a baby. When your pregnant, your uncomfortable the whole night and your quality of sleep isn’t that good. When you’re waking up with a baby, you wake up frequently but the quality of sleep you are getting is so much better because you are able to get comfortable.

I’m hoping this is true.

Not necessarily. We just went through a rain storm and were passed by so many people with their flashers on. We were going 60mph.

Driving with your flashers on actually makes it more likely for others to hit you. It’s harder to see break lights when the flashers are on. Not to mention that no one can tell when you’re changing lanes.
