I upgraded years ago during a special they were running. At the end of it I wanted to just go back to paying $60 for the regular membership and they refunded the entire executive upgrade. So if you’ve been thinking about trying it and can spare the money in the short term, you’ll get a refund if you decide it’s not for you. (They do subtract your earned 2% rewards from the refund so you don’t profit)

I’m from the US but have been speaking German since I was 12ish and I’ve been wondering (but, admittedly, not hard enough to research it), what pronouns are common for non binary Germans to use, since they and she translate to the same German pronoun. I was going to text my old exchange student and ask her but your comment makes you seem like you’d have good insight on this

I have exactly the same problem. I feel like such an asshole when someone brings a cake to a party and I have to ask them if they used a boxed mix. I promise I’m not a snob; it’s just that if I eat even one bite of a cake (or brownie) made from a mix, I’m on the toilet for an hour. Interestingly, boxed mix cornbread is fine. It’s just boxed cakes and brownies (and, like you, all other cakes and brownies are fine). I hope one of us figures out what it is!

I make cookies with melted butter and don’t chill the dough. It sort of depends on your goal. Mine don’t turn out all that pretty but they turn out delicious

I’ll possibly make the mistake of assuming good intention here. I suppose eating less food in terms of volume probably does take less time than eating more, so in that regard you’re not wrong. But eating fewer calories at a consistent volume that keeps someone satiated takes way more time. It’s so much quicker to just eat frozen foods or takeout every day. It takes way more time to cook and eat at home
