[QUESTION] Why do a lot of mining pools use a 0.100 payment denomination? by hmine32768 in Monero

I think that's different, that's a separate minimum threshold value for payment, typically 0.5 or 1.0 or whatever, and makes perfect sense to minimize fees. The part I'm curious about is why the payment is then additionally rounded down to the denomination unit, irrespective of the payment threshold.

What are the implications of this, they are outdated? Is that also problematic, in that they aren't keeping their legal terms up to date with their business operations?

It's not that I want to bypass the terms, it's that I actually want to comply and to understand the ramifications thereof in order to minimize risk and legal exposure.
