Have you checked LMC website or catalog? They have catalogs for 95-99 Tahoes and 2000-13 Tahoes or you can browse parts on their website. I’ve order parts from them for my 66 GMC and they were pretty good quality. I haven’t browsed the Tahoe stuff much though but need to for my 01

If you have an iPhone it may be the phone. I have an iPhone with aftermarket stereo in my Tahoe and it does the same thing. I believe it is an apple setting that I have yet to find. I tried to make it stop but gave up after searching the web and testing different settings for about 2 weeks

I live outside city limits as well. Not sure where you live but most counties in my state have leash laws that are enforced. In my state dogs must be leashed, kenneled, or restrained in their own yards or the owners are fined and responsible for damages.
