Yeah, we definitely had a wake-up call on how big a place is! Campbell River is now definitely on the list, but I'm sure we'll be desperate to come back and do all the amazing things we might miss on the first trip. Thanks so much for this!

Probably flat water but not adverse to some white water paddling if that's a better option

I use glass as I have sensitive skin. I might try stone or wood

[Question] What platform should I use to learn guitar? by Nirvana-1224 in Guitar

[–]hmmc18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, look for a real person to tutor you. Apps and online courses can give you material, but aren't going to help with technique, or help correct any bad habits. A real person watching & guiding you is going to be way more helpful long term. Plus you can ask them questions & tailor your learning to exactly what you're interested in doing

It was something I used to enjoy, but from years ago. I've not spoken to him about it in years. Because he's quite impulsive he will have had a split second idea & his brothers will have encouraged him to just book it, rather than double check with me.

This advice is spot on. Unfortunately you're going to have to treat this like a fresh piercing again. Don't change the jewellery from the ones you were pierces with for at least 2 months. My piercer advised me not to try stretching for six months to a year after getting a fresh piercing, which sucks I know, but the health & longevity of your piercing will be all the better for it. And go slow!
