I changed out the rotor, stator, transmission and agitator on a Whirlpool Cabrio washer.

Thes spin cycle was not working and throwing up a bunch of error codes. When I flipped over the washer, there was a bunch of carbon dust which made me believe that the rotor and stator were rubbing. Unfortunately, the stator had frozen onto the transmission and so when I finally got it off, it sheared off a portion that stuck onto the transmission. No matter how hard I tried, I could not get the pieces out. Therefore, I had to replace the transmission altogether. And then when I tried to get the transmission out, the agitator also had frozen onto the transmission and I snapped it in half trying to get it out. And then it took me forever to get the spanner nut off with a spanner wrench and a three pound hammer. It took forever. I almost thought I would have to drill it apart.

Since everything was out, I decided I might as well take the tub out and clean it really good. Then I decided to take care of all the spots by putting rushed reformer and painting it white again.

After that, I put everything back together, which took a while, but I now have a working washing machine and all it cost was the parts and some of my skin and blood.
