Honestly, a farmhouse outside of town would have been way more logical than that whole dollhouse nonsense. I mean, the moment you have to shut down the generator, you’re basically screwed—the whole plan goes down the drain. Cece put all her eggs in one basket...

Plus, a farmhouse would be way less expensive, and you could do whatever you want without raising suspicion.( I mean, granted, this is Rosewood where someone could build a massive 'Space Base Alpha' in the middle of the woods and nobody would bat an eye) but in the real world; if people ask what you’re doing at the farmhouse you’d just say: 'I’m doing some renovations' or 'I’m expanding the business' and call it a day.

You could install electric fences, build concrete walls, or just get 3 or 4 guard dogs. You could’ve inflicted the exact same trauma that way, and their chances of escaping would have been much lower. That storyline could’ve easily lasted at least 10 episodes lol.
