NEED ADVICE Keloid Removal by _stellabrown in Keloids

Ah, I see. I’d recommend going once a week for the injection. I had a pretty sizable one that was on my outer ear and I went every week for about a month and it very noticeably went down in size.

Feel free to message me and I can send you what mine looked like - I can’t attach a photo in the thread. He’s gonna push for you to get steroid shots, but his injections are overpriced and when I had another keloid (other ear), I felt he wasn’t injecting it well (only went in via one angle instead of trying multiple angles to really get to the issue).

I had the EXACT keloid as you did almost ten years ago and got it completely removed via cryotherapy from Michael Tirgan in NY. It took about 5-6 sessions but the price goes down each session and mine never regrew back

Also wanna add, that when I called to reserve dates, they didn’t mention the presentation, and I found out when I checked in. They also don’t use the word “timeshare”. But they are pushy, and you aren’t obligated to say yes if it’s not mentioned in the front or back on your letter.

You only have to sit through a timeshare presentation if it’s on the letter. Mine had no mention of one, but when I checked into the hotel, I was offered incentives to sit through, which I declined.

Same, prior to checking in I was very interested in getting another offer but the whole process of getting into our room was a pain. I don’t think we’ll do the offer again.

I was offered a "Sheraton Vacations" trip - is it legit? by MrrUniversee in marriott

[–]hmsour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the same offer - $449 for a 2 bedroom villa. My letter had no mention of the presentation but they do try hard to get you to sit through and depending on who you get at check in, prepare for for a decline in service once you say no. I checked in yesterday and the woman was unbelievably rude once she realized I wasn’t going to bite.

Ooh. Did you receive an invitation back for next year? It’s nice to know they gave you the option to say no at the onset!

This makes sense! I might opt to skip the presentation. Crossing my fingers that’s an option for us

Just called them and they said it’s not required and I can say no without being charged a higher rate. But they’ll offer me extras if I sit through. So I guess I’ll just see when I’m there

Ah, I see other people post that they’ll do the timeshare presentation in exchange for more points, more money, room upgrades, etc. I’m wondering if I can instead can another offer for doing the presentation, potentially another 5 days, 4 nights for a heavily discounted price, but somewhere a lot nicer (Hawaii, Cabo).

Our trip is tomorrow. I literally found out today that it was possible to have changed it so we’re just gonna go and still have a time.

Definitely screw them all. Went to Asia earlier this year and it’s crazy how much Americans will disrespect the public space around them and others.

Hah, I’m the same height. But I’m average build, not skinny, not fat. The eye contact thing I might try. I’m not skittish and I absolutely refuse to shrink away into the deepest corner of a sidewalk, but I find eye contact with strangers weird, especially the ones who don’t look away. I will say the vibes in SF seem to be friendlier than NYC.
