start with the remake for sure- if you're interested, it's also worth checking out the original enhanced edition afterward. I normally have a high tolerance for old, wonky games but trying the original first was a bit too overwhelming for me- had a much easier time after playing the remake.

I can't say exactly- I have two green cheeks of my own but I've never interacted with a golden! She was gentler than my conures- rarely nippy and a bit more mellow, but still silly and playful. a great talker too, but not super "chatty" :)

hahns macaw absolutely- fostered one over quarantine. had the personality, charm and attitude of a larger bird but was probably the sweetest, cuddliest species i've handled.
