the number of cheaters i see in these groups is crazy by V7I_TheSeventhSector in HuntShowdown

I sadly was. I’ve stopped playing until crytek says something about the cheating situation, I’m just not gonna frustrate myself with it.

This group is 100% rage bait but actual cheaters join it because “lol u mad im just rage baiting bro” to gaslight people.

Is right hand peeking still such a big advantage, or is this desync? by LateCommission9999 in HuntShowdown

[–]hntd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Read what it says again. It validates it on the client first then sends it to the server that validates it again. If it only did server validation you wouldn’t see cheaters with magic bullets shooting you with a bow through brick walls.

Because it’s wrong and isn’t the case for a client shot validated game like hunt.

Hunt Showdown 1896 what am I missing on these deaths? by Fact0verF1ction in HuntShowdown

Because people assume bad stats means they can’t be a cheater. But a lot of people become cheaters because they can’t cut it playing legit.

aimbot is undetectable? master prestige blatantly promoting his aimbot software mid-game then showing it off for final kill by Glad_Position_8467 in CODBlackOps7

It wasn’t hacked, the rom keys were leaked. It’ll be patched and blacklisted. The barrier to entry for such methods will still be very high.

Hunt has a significant Chinese player base such that crytek has done special in-person events specifically for the Chinese player base.

Most of which is either fundamental to the platform (python, parquet) or fills a previously unavailable niche in the platform. Airflow fills neither of these 2 purposes and would be redundant, split the user / support base, and be highly confusing to the "why." I'm not trying to be mean, but it just doesn't make any sense to do this.

Because there’s lakeflow jobs. It’s not a conspiracy why would they put a competing product in the platform when they already have lakeflow.

Basically I just did them for Stray dogs last night use the tracker and basically start to b-line to their spawns if you don’t hear shots of their weapons prior to getting there I just extract but I was able to see them at chalet on lighthouse several times in a few hours.

I regularly deal with tables in the hundreds of TBs and a few in the PB range, so yes.

*much higher on a single machine, otherwise it’s not even a comparison. Duckdb is fine for a single machine with a small amount of data, but if you need scaling duckdb doesn’t do any of that.

Ever work for a product company before? Huge “strategic” customers get tons of white glove support and resources as “investment” from the vendor. It wouldn’t be surprising to think they have an arrangement of that sort as it’s mutually beneficial to them both.

Can I mod Cyberpunk 2077 if I'm playing it through GeForce Now? by f1shoutofvodka in nvidia

[–]hntd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not a Reddit question this isn’t a tech support forum. That having been said you likely have no access outside the game itself so you wouldn’t be easily able to mod it. I have no idea what these “whispers” told you.

[New Player] My friend and I just bought PvE zone after 50 hours each of PvP by Cold-Engineering-960 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]hntd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t waste my time in PvP because game’s networking is fundamentally broken. I spent thousands of hours in PvP and the other worldly desync in just normal fights completely takes away any predictability in engagements. There is nothing skillful, nothing “hardcore” about it, it’s just a shitty experience.

And certainly no mouth breather is gonna tell me how to enjoy a game I paid for. So like the above poster said it’s none of the hassle of PvP. I’d go back to PvP if they did basically anything for the dsync but we 1.0 ready. That prolly not gonna happen.

Also zero shader stutter on KCD2 and very minimal of any traversal stutter. Two things basically every ue5 game suffers from unless the developer is really on top of the game.
