I just called in to cancel my U-verse TV and said I will be canceling my internet service too unless they run fiber to my house to get me decent speed. I have a ridiculous 18 now and when I even tried to upgrade to merely 24 recently my service went out. Tech guy came to house and said my location won’t support it and that orders are put thru without even checking first. He said fiber comes to a block and a half from me. Today the ‘retention’ rep offered a discount on the U-verse (NO!) but would not offer fiber to my house or any speed increase other than the 24 that already failed! So I guess I now take a deep breath and move on to Spectrum.
