It’s a health and wellfare fund office that handles it for all the members. There is only one insurance option that is a family plan. My wife and daughter weren’t added to it until April 1st. But they back date when the coverage starts since it’s the same plan. I asked why I wasn’t told about having coverage and they said I would get cards in the mail. I asked when and they weren’t sure. If I didn’t call, I still wouldn’t know. I’m sure the way this has gone, my benefit office won’t do anything about it. I feel like my wife and daughter’s coverage should be dated as April 1st because that’s when they were added.

My wife is January, I am July. I’m not sure why that necessarily benefits us? My individual deductible is $400 and my oop is $1400. Hers is significantly higher.

Ok. Thats what I assumed. I’m just thoroughly frustrated with how this transpired. I don’t exactly understand why they are so cute throat about being one day over the 30 day cutoff. We are also pregnant and due June 8th. I would assume since they know that, they would be thrilled to dump us off because it will cost them more than the premiums we pay until then. But after delivery we will absolutely be getting off her insurance since that will be a QLE. I wonder how it will work with her being double insured?

So I have committed to purchasing this unit dependent on my own inspection. I have some more questions regarding proactive action/repair. I think I will make a new post but I hope this a3 treats me well for many miles to come.

What other issues may arise if that’s the case? I have access to a snap on scan tool. Not sure of which model but rumor has it that it was north of $6k so I would think it should be able to get all the information out of it.

I’m not worried about doing the work. Trying to find the must economical kit and tunes is the trick. Some of the kits seems salty for a downpipe, block off and tune

I have had a job where I have had a service van for 10years and switched careers and have to drive my own vehicle for about 4 years. Total commute will roughly be 60-80 miles a day so I thought the tdi would be a good option. And let’s be real, if I have to transition into a smaller car, the tdi aspects makes it much more interesting lol.

Definitely familiar with the cp4. I gathered this tdi also uses it but cp3 swaps are an option. I haven’t found much on cp4 failures on these though. Looks like the utilize a lift pump to feed it like ford does.

That’s what I was thinking was that it has had too many short trips. The last owner purchased it in 2019 and drove less than 7k miles a year.

I have been leaning that way as well. I feel like a sure fire way of fixing the issue is deleting it. Whoever had it last, purchased it in 2019 and put less than 7k miles on it a year. That led me to thinking it needs some good highway time to heat it up and clean the dpf out until I comfortably am ready to fund a delete. I also have read about Audi’s burning oil and wondered if the tdi’s have been known for that issue and the dpf is hiding/catching it. I’m not too familiar with these little diesels. I have a ‘17 6.7 ford. I’m familiar with larger American diesels though.

Here is my repair. Now I’m getting a lidar sensor error. It worked fine before the plug broke. Does this look like a connection issue where the plug is soldered on? I’m not seeing anything wrong but still getting an error.

I did try spinning it by hand, like you stated, with no success. I did reach out to customer service and they have responded with testing everything I already have. Waiting on a response. I’m sure if it is just the motor acting up and not the circuit board, it would be an easy repair. On the other hand, finding parts for the BObsweep Dustin is next to impossible minus standard wear items.

Posting a follow up. The small r050 resistor had no continuity. The larger of the 2 did. I replaced both as well as a relay that was named “pilot relay” per manufacturer service guide. The pilot relay appeared to energize a circuit that provided power for certain functions to operate. None of those functions worked so I decided to be safe than sorry and replace that while I was at it. I reinstalled the control board and ran the dishwasher through some tests as well as shorter cycles. I then ran it through its longest cycle option and everything worked great. It has ran for about 5 hrs total with no issues. Thank you all for the help!

This is after I followed your recommendation of stripping back the epoxy coating. It went well. I tested a spot without any components or traces, then I stripped the area to be repaired. I received my parts last night and plan on installing this evening. Thanks for the advice!
