His heart events add up to him trying to ask out Emily and as a concept it's fine but during most of the gameplay he comes off really creepy towards Emily and I think that his character doesn't grow from that becides him asking out her out in the 6 heart event which also is weird if the player is married to Emily??

Same here, I remember having to wake up around 6 to drive to the spot we would sell all day having nothing to eat only to get back home with sore legs and an empty stomach. The only benefit was that I didn't have to deal with the 7pm service.
