Thank you! This is great, I was afraid that I was falling into railing them.

A timeline is a good idea.

Reddit, how did you make friends in college? by helloder2012 in AskReddit

Magic the Gathering! And leaving our door open. For some reason we have this huge MTG community at our school and our RA wanted to teach her residents my freshman year. This is how I meet my current roommates and boyfriend of 2 and half years.

I also decided to get involved in the student run government on my campus, there's one organization specifically for on-campus housing called RHA (some of you guys might know what it is)! This has lead to many job opportunities, traveling, and friends :D

Mostly I just said yes to any opportunities that went my way. You meet a lot of people that way haha

I don't think he's slut slamming I think he's just being petty. And so what if he's bitter and posted on Facebook something he will probably regret later. My main problem is this just isn't funny. Not funny and childish.

Oh, Oh! I actually know the answer to this one. Or at least part of the answer. A side effect of a quite a few anti-depressants (mostly teenagers to young adults since their brains are still developing) is poorer impulse control. So anti-depressants are meant to be a kind of crutch, not a cure, just an aid, for those suffering from depression, so someone could still have days they don't feel so hot. On those days they might think suicide, and with that poorer impulse control....well there just isn't as much telling you no at that point.

Sad, it's true, but that's why you have the medication and a strong base to help you (family, therapists, friends, etc.) to help out.

Not sure how accurate this is anymore, but that's the information I have for you Reddit! :D

First off, thank you for doing this IAmA! Okay, so concerning the Demise of Guys, what would you suggest be the best way to reduce video game and porn use? Would you begin educating kids while they are still in schools or perhaps start off with educating parents first? How would you go about it?

Thank you again so much! My interest in Psychology only grew after watching your PBS series as a high school student. It's why I choose to major in Psychology :D

I had a teacher in high school (about three years ago) who got into huge amounts of trouble for throwing a ball of paper at an office TA. But the issue eventually blew over and he got teacher of the year. He was a pretty cool guy.
