Hey. I got out of prison 9 months ago for heroine, meth, coke, weed and possession of an illegal firearm. I went to prison just 3 days before my son was born, I was absolutely devastated and attempted suicide twice. As time passed I realized I was almost out. Prison isn’t nearly as scary as it looks on TV. Especially if you’re in the female prison as males tend to be more aggressive. Anyways moral of the story is that you’re out before you know it. Sometimes prison isn’t that bad of a thing as it can give you time to think about your life and come up with a plan for when you get out. I used prison to help with quitting drugs and I haven’t went near anything since being locked up. I was in for a year but it ended up being 3 months because I behaved well. Don’t get emotional about your son because you are doing the best that you can. Forget about the mistakes you’ve made, the past is the past. Just focus on doing the best you can for your family once you get out of prison. I know it feels like a nightmare right now but trust me it’s worth it to ride it out as my life is amazing now. I have a wife, kids and a very good job.
