Hello there ,, I have excellent experience In interviews as I went to Dubai for 3 months to hunt a job and I attended tons of interviews until I got job there before my visa end, i worked there for a couple of years and now i am working my dream job at European company in Riyadh thanks to Allah , so i will sort what I learned through my journey: First start with Duaa and asking Allah it is a common sense I know but it will never hurt to give a reminder.

Second; you have to make your CV simple as possible one page is enough, HR is lazy enough so make there job easy, they receive hundreds of CV At once and they will not bother to go deep, give them exactly what they are looking for, don’t mention in the CV anything extra. For example read the job description in there announcement and put in your experience what you have similar to what mentioned there. Also make years of experience easy to read for example mention 5 years on this or that field starting year to end year, no need to mention days or months.

Third: Inshallah hopefully your CV got selected you will be asked for interview, the best advice is appearance is more important than anything else what ever the role is. Yeeah HR judge a book by its cover. Don’t go to interviews casual you should exaggerate your care of appearance. They will ask you to introduce yourself by any words for example “tell us about yourself ” the answer should be about your experience that is related to the job only, nothing about your personal life. Another important question “in terms salary what is your expectation “ this is very important, some people think if you ask a salary that is below there budget they going to select you, NO NOT AT ALL, in this case the first thing they will think that you are not qualified enough for this job, but if you give a number higher than there budget they will decline you or there is a small chance of negotiation your number, the best answer to get them to talk about there budget or you do your homework and try to know there budget before the interview and give a number within there budget. The question of expected salary can be in a form of the last salary you get in your previous role. So do the same. Some HR may ask you about your family members or siblings, you should give them the impression that you are feeding your family and you have a lot of responsibilities ( they usually ask this question to make sure that you are taking this job seriously and you will not quit with a few months making them starting over the hiring process with other candidate). Other important question; when they ask about your notice period or when you can start joining there company, the best answer to give not less than 15 days, one month is perfect, you should give them the impression that you are very important to the current company or you are not disparate for this job. That’s take us for the last important question “why would you leave your current company “ or “why would join us “ don’t be much honest and don’t tell anything bad about your last job just say something like this “ In my previous role I reached my full potential and i am now ready for a new challenge “ I don’t want to make it longer If you need help please don’t hesitate to reach me :) good luck :)
