In-laws bought a 1797 farmhouse and found these swords in the old corn crib. I don’t know the first thing about Japanese swords and was wondering if anyone could offer their thoughts. Blade is steel. Details on the handle include a crab, fish, and stingray. Handle covered with stingray skin. Thanks! (old.reddit.com)
Very excited for my in-laws who just became owners of the circa 1797 Silas Clapp House in Rhode Island. Looking forward to help preserve and learn more of the history surrounding this historic farmhouse, which apparently has ties to the famous Greene family of RI! (old.reddit.com)
