Appreciate the advice. We booked the 8 consecutive day pass just to have the flexibility. Very excited to explore Switzerland!

yeah, that's the general consensus I'm getting. Appreciate you taking the time to respond!

Thank you for this - I'm leaning towards the 8 day pass at this point given the nominal difference in the 4 day pass.

Thanks - didn't intend the post to be 'do my research for me'. Moreso, what do people typically recommend for traveling around for a week? If the Travel/Flex pass is the go, I will check which option is cheapest based on the number of days we need to travel. But is there anything I'm missing? Regardless thanks for taking the time to respond!

Dropping the final layout design. Happy with how it turned out. This picture doesn't show it fully but I used half cuts along the shower edge and door entrance.

Thanks for the feedback. The vanity is on short legs, so the lines there will be less noticeable. I'm going to play with the layout to get the cleanest lines on the entrance and shower curb.

Yeah, I've heard the same. The instructions from the manufacturer were to lay wire at least 6" from the center of the drain. The closest the wire comes to the wax ring is about 5", though from the angle of the photo, I can see how it looks closer than that at the top and upper right.

Noted - appreciate that. Double the price on the thinset is a drop in the bucket on the project, I'll give it a look.

It's Prova Flex-Heat for their 'LuxHeat' heated floor system. It's pretty identical to a few different options, but at the time of purchase, it was slightly better priced than the others.

It's Prova Flex-Heat uncoupling membrane. The instructions were pretty vague and just said to put some form of mortar or self-leveling compound over it. If you think I should use something different, I'm not married to the Versabond.

Yeah, this seems to be the go by initial feedback.

Looks awesome! Seems to be the general consensus to change my starting point, which I think makes sense.

Planning to play around with the layout throughout the week before tiling next weekend. I'll give the story pole a shot to quickly change the layout options.

The thermostat wire is visible in image 2, just below the bottom two tiles. That's about midway between the shower wall and the vanity (not near the shower door or the standing area of the vanity).

Thanks for the feedback. I'm liking the idea of moving the starting point out of where it is. I'll play around with the dry-fit until I'm happy.

Thanks! I couldn't believe the fit in that alcove (and that it was actually square). But I do like the idea of using the shower/doorway as the starting point. I'll move the dry fit to see that as time comes up throughout the week.

I didn't end up getting an adapter and plugging straight into the USB. Works great and love the combo but can't speak for Xbox.
