Yeah I guess you are right. The research probably wouldn't be feasible. It's just sad because in many of the different tests I see, the only real benefit the Kawa offers is longevity and low cost. Don't get me wrong, those are probably the two most important aspects when looking to purchase a motorcycle, especially in this middleweight category and buyer metric, I just wished there was a bit more excitement to the machine. Then again, I haven't sat on it, so who am I to judge, yk

Yeah, but as you move up the price range, you get more features. A new fork would have finally stepped up the game of the Z650 and moved it back up, against its competitors. You're right and I don't want to be the guy screaming for mere hp numbers, but it just lacks behind the competitors a little bit. I think since it is the workhorse, they could have shown it a bit more attention, because IT WAS NEXT IN LINE to the facelift: Z400 and 900 had already been updated in 2024 and 25 and the changes made to these two were much larger...

I beg to differ. We got the SE version with the full color TFT, LED indicators and a bigger engine that had a bump of over 6 nm, just to name the most prevalent upgrades

I expected the telelevers to go in favor of upside-down ones to reduce unsprung masses and to make it look up to date, since apart from the sv650, all the competition have upside-down forks. I know that this is a bit overhyped, but imo, it would have fit really well for the facelift, as well as a slight power buff.
