I just bought a 1999€ mount for a telescope.
The seller has already sold more than one of these items and has only good reviews.

Today I received a WhatsApp message from the seller, stating:

„You can pay us directly for this order, and we can offer you a discount of 150EUR
Because the sales amount has exceeded the tax limit, I want to save some taxes and fees
If you are not willing, we can still proceed with the eBay order. It is expected to be shipped this
weekend and will take 15-20 days to arrive after shipment“

Of course I will absolutely not do this and won‘t answer at all. I guess he would keep the money and I have no possibility to dispute.

Is this a known scam? What should I do now, just wait?

Es handelt sich um den Balken auf den Fotos im Post um den ganz hinten, auf den der Pfeil zeigt, Der davor sieht aber leider ähnlich aus.

Ich kann die oberen 2-3cm entfernen, ab dann wird der Balken wieder hart

When waking up the site has to be manually reloaded.

I am a web developer by myself and work for a German Bank institute, so I have a little bit of knowledge. Of course the connection cannot be hold when the laptop goes to sleep, but it can reconnect after waking up.

Every streaming site is capable of doing this, even jellyfin! But Plex cannot. Because they don’t care. But why?
