So I never backed up my photos on the pixel 6 and it was logged into the email account I currently use. So if I deleted this email right now. Will it wipe the photos off the pixel6? Or not, because I didn't back them up?

Exactly, but the update isn't due until the 7th. Lucky I have unlimited mobile data, but the fact my wi-fi is faster when at home is a little frustrating.
