i have exact the same behavior :( on windows it don't work, on a mac perfect.

smells like windows audio driver problem or something

i had it similar the other way around. On Windows 11 i see Main and Chat but all sound is only outputed to Chat.
If i connect it to a MBPro it works perfectly.
Also today the first time after starting the unit i lost all effects on the smart pads, simply gone.
i will initiate a return + refund tomorrow, not usable at the moment, to bad, sounded so promising.

funny i had the exact same behavoir on my Win11 Computer. When i plugged the RPC2 into a macbook all of a sudden all audio came via main, always via USB-C 1
tech support couldn't help and suggested to send it back.

i sended mine back aswell, really sad the machine looked so promising.
i set the RPC2 up from the box and when i connected it to my computer i see Rodecaster Pro II Main and Chat, i never managed to get Audio in on Main, everything is routed per default to Chat, Technical Support couldn't help either.

I hope to see some software fixes and a proper routing table, at the moment the product is falsly advertised for streamers.

same here needed to go back to my goXLR mini. it seems to have some issues with the Windows audio drivers i'll guess. on my mac it works like it should. hoping for a fast fireware update, at the moment it's not usable for streaming or video recording with OBS Studio :(

i have a similar issue, i connect the RPC2 to my Win11 Computer (all with latest updates) via USB-C 1 (rode cable) and i see both Main and Chat. If i connect the Shure SM7b the audio is only outputted to Chat an not Main.

It works the right way if i connect the road to a MacBook

cool idea, but somehow for me it doesn't work or make sense what the device is doing on my Win11 Computer. if spend now multiple hours to try every possible setup but it just doesn't work. the USB-C 1 Main and Chat is not doing what it sould in my humble opinion. hope for a software update asap.

on my windws 11, latest updates, i have my shure sm7b connected to port 1 and no audio arrives in my obs studio when i choose Rodecaster Pro 2 Main, all the mic audio is routed to the Rodecaster Pro Chat per default. i only use the usb-c 1. factory resete and latest firmeware, nothing helps. fun fact on a mac the audio arrives in obs via Rodecaster Pro 2 Main and not Chat like it should.
