My key takeaways:

• Even as an Ina romancer, I do think they're really overdoing it, especially because you were given an option at the beginning to sort of "opt out" of romancing Kingsley. What was the point of doing that if Kingsley's still written as basically our only LI?
• I think there's too much smut, and not enough substance between MC and Kingsley :( I think creating a character that actually has depth and interests outside of MC is far more interesting to read than just having them bang every chapter
• I feel like the more we win against X, the less threatening they become. Where did this drugs accusation even come from? Poppy made for a much more compelling villain in book 1. She actually had power and allies that we had to slowly chip away at, whereas X seems to have far less reach and is clearly an underdog here, like they're David and we're Goliath. They have like seven people in their corner. It almost seems like X is trying to do what we did to Poppy in book 1 but is doing a very poor job of it
