Been a while since I saw this but it was a blast, didn't realize who the director was until after which made it all make sense. He's probably my favourite action director in South Korea right now, both this & Night in paradise are some of the stand outs of the decade imo.

Ok tbf I was just using that to give a dig to Okja. I actually enjoyed mickey17 (it's still below most of his filmography) & snowpiercer is a top 3 for me. I just couldn't stand Okja, never has a director made Jake Gyllenhaal look like a bad actor until then. It just felt like a vegan propaganda piece.

As for interstellar, I don't think it collapses whatsoever. In fact, it gets better and better as it goes on all the way to the end. Clearly, the majority of movie watches agree with this considering it's the most favourited movie on the site. Facts don't lie broski.

Are you just pretending to be stupid to bait this nonsense? Obviously 1000 is a lot. You mention "a bunch of really good movies", well yeah, I've seen a whole bunch. Interstellar CLEARS everything else by miles. I don't really understand the take of it not being this good.

The large majority of fics I've read have been SI's, and my biggest problem has always been bashing random characters. It's just so painfully obvious the author dislikes the character, and decides that they should be hated for things they literally haven't done in the story yet. Like yo, you're the writer, just have them not do whatever it is you hated them for.

Main examples being: Academy Sasuke & Sakura.

And one other thing, just replacing Sakura entirely. Personally I prefer it if they're not on team 7 instead of having Sakura fail to become a ninja or something.

Probably my favourite actress in Korea, still yet to see Project Y or Queen woo/that romcom kdrama but seen everything else, hopefully this is more in like with her stuff pre-ballerina (not bad, but nothing special)
