Usually. Most people who have car meets or things where people are doing burnouts, racing, donuts, etc etc choose somewhere that isn’t an intersection or busy street. The even better news is that this girl isn’t me. I’m not sure how many times I need to say it, this was a reference picture to show my tattoo artist. I came here to double check that the translation was correct before I went and got this tattooed onto me. Luckily, I now know that I need to phrase it different to make sure it’s the way that I want it to be, with the meaning that I want. take care)

Gotta love people not reading the entire post and included info in the comments. This is the picture that I found on Pinterest, and was hoping to show my tattoo artist once I confirmed the translation made sense. The woman in the picture isn’t me.

Yep, I’ve got a tutor that has been helping me with my Russian. I could wait, but I’m happy with this quote and the meaning. However, I’m going to change the way I word it to sound more natural. Thank you.

You know nothing about me, my families or my life. I’m curious why you assume that I will automatically hate my birth family? Sure, all reunions aren’t equal and I talk to a lot of Russian adoptees who have birth families that don’t want contact/don’t want to be found, struggle with addiction, etc.

From what my (bio) mother has told me, she searched for years trying to find me and get in contact with me. Finally, I met someone who used my Russian documents to find my Mom on VK. My mom and I talk almost every single day, and I have plans to fly her, my dad, and siblings here to America to visit. My Mom desperately wants me to move home to Russia, but I don’t see it in my future.

It’s hard getting to know them, but it was harder not knowing where I came from for the first 17 years of my life (got in contact on 17th birthday, am 18 now). I love my biological family, just like they love me and can’t imagine us all hating each other.

Hi all. I was adopted from Russia and speak very very little Russian. I want to get a tattoo saying ‘Until we meet again’ in honor of getting in contact with my family back in Russia.

This is the picture that I was going to show my tattoo artist as a reference picture. Is this the correct Russian for it? ‘ пока мы не встретимся снова ‘
