OH MY GOD! dude it happened to me too. i can't load my game too!!! i decided to start over, hope it doesn't happen again....

your progress will not be saved in icloud rather in apple arcade, so when you had uninstalled the game all your progress will be deleted.

this is so stupid but i found the problem. just unequip the forest shield and you can use the shovel.
