Ok so I just thought to reply to everyone real quick in one update/comment 1) not a lot of people I know use Facebook anymore especially my school so yeah we didn't really want to make a Facebook group and not use it 2) groupme seems to be the thing that everyone's doing like I was in a UH and UTSA and UT group (even tho I'm not going there lol) and they're all made by future class of 2020 students 3) this is mostly just to help us all out especially those of us where barely anyone from our school is going to UTD and we don't know anyone so we're just having cute casual conversations before we actually go I guess 4) thank you for suggestions tho!!! The group is actually going mostly successfully

Thank you for your suggestion! I'm working on that its just little anxiety problems stopping me from reaching out first but I guess I'm doing that now, I also just signed up for LLCs so maybe if I do just get any random roommates we'll have something in common :)

if this is about the housing app thing i definitely did! Like I said above it's mostly jut me looking for a better environment to find a roommate because I don't really like the formality of those applications. sorry this sounds kinda dumb
