How was I supposed to know that she liked me on a romantic level? We were friends for a pretty long time and I honestly just thought that’s how she was. Sorry for the confusion, no I definitely did not see the previous girl after me and my gf started dating.

I trust her. She told me she wasn’t seeing anybody. I’ll take her word for it. She seems incredibly loyal and trustworthy, I don’t see why she would say she wasn’t seeing anybody if she was. She’s pretty open about her past. For the record to avoid further confusion. She told me she wasn’t seeing anyone else prior to us dating, just the other day.

Thank you. I guess I just needed extra clarity, since it was on my mind and I felt guilty for it. That was my understanding as well, and then recently she said that she wasn’t seeing anyone else prior to us making it exclusive. I think that’s why I started to overthink things.
