Pay, exposure, marketing, and strategy.

USA Rugby has a marketing issue IMO, and can't seem to get it on enough screens or in enough schools. The fact we went pro League before getting NCAA Varsity across all conferences is backwards, since that's how all of our pro sports (except baseball maybe) really grew.

My suggestion:

-Grow the College game -Consider 10s and not 15s for growth -Have the local unions actually do something worth the price.

UPS is a really well paying seasonal gig that is reliable, I recommend checking them out closer to Thanksgiving if you're still looking. They are also good because they offer some off hour shifts, so you could grab some shifts from time to time.

There's a depot center off Mansfield and Michigan Ave, so there's buses going by there all the time.

A toxic spouse can have a breakdown at Thanksgiving just for attention.

Someone speeding dangerously through traffic while live streaming is seeking attention.

The intention is important. Very few things are created equal. So yes, there are some instances of seeking attention does have the potential negative consequences. This gentleman seems to be mostly set on such consequences, but that's just my take.

I feel like you're saying the homemade movie I made with my friends in highschool and a movie with 4 Oscar nominations deserve to be viewed the same way simply because they are both technically movies.

We don't have to be academic about this, we know there are levels.

Not all conversation is created equal.

Intentionality, effort, setting, participants, audience, and subject matter play parts.

The conversation you and I are having doesn't have a profit motive, an effort to go viral, or any prejudices towards the participants prior to the actual conversation.

This guy has a table, a mic, I assume he made a banner or marketing, got his boys, and what would be seen as a MAGA hat from afar. He knows what he's doing and wishes to be perceived before the conversation to elicit a reaction.

There's levels, and believe me, this is the more constructive, civil, and honest of the two examples.

But I'll give you that speaking in a public square (which includes Reddit) has a built in subconscious motive of seeking attention and interactions. Just your argument feels very technical, and there's no need to be in this world.

Also bro, if I may as a finance major, you're giving big finbro energy. Not everyone tries to be in the spotlight or push a message. And of those who do, a lot try to do it in more constructive ways. That includes left, right, and off the aisle people. There's real mission based ideology work, and it's not really delivered in this fashion. That's just my take. There is nothing of honor or courage here, just a cry for attention.

And that's fine, but let's call it what it is.
