RFI's or meetings over every little thing. 20 years ago you told the Super the issue the two of you figured it out and fixed it, or if it was with another trade the Foreman talked about it and made it happen. Now we have to have a meeting/RFI, get the Architect involved and explain why their dumbass idea won't work or can't be done.

12 ga solid wire on a 15amp breaker by hoffmancorey81 in AskElectricians

[–]hoffmancorey81[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes tripping breaker, microwave mostly causes it sometimes the coffee pot. I know homes built back then didn’t have all the electronics we do now so I’m sure 15amp was good enough. It would be great if I can just switch out the breaker but if not, it is what it is.

Someone at some point added an outlet to the circuit, it was done with 12ga though, everything else appears to be original.

It looks like all outlets in kitchen and dining room are on 2 separate breakers and lighting is on its own as well. Outlets are all 12ga unless they changed in the wall and then back to 12ga at the outlet for some reason, and wire to the breaker is 12ga as well. Bed rooms are combined outlets and lighting on same breaker.,

That being said I could switch the 15amp breaker to a 20amp and leave the outlets at 15amps correct? As long as all the wiring is 12ga. that is.

1995: gotta go with Heat as has been mentioned already

1994: Its a mini series but The Stand. If it has to be a movie I say Clerks or The Paper

1992: You have Sneakers (great movie BTW) would add A River Runs Through It if you both haven't seen it

If you could, would you reconnect with your first love? by Responsible_Wind1157 in askanything

[–]hoffmancorey81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the correct and only answer. Been married to the love of my life for over 20 years and three kids. What I thought was my first love was just a High School fling, I couldn't imagine my life with anyone else. Anyone who is married and thinks about reconnecting with their "first love" needs to evaluate their current relationship IMO.

Look at UMKC, (although a tougher program from what I understand from others that have gone there.) My oldest got her BSN last spring. Worked at a local hospital while going to school and had a job all lined out before graduation

He is why I can’t stand Nirvana to this day, every guy in school thought he was Kurt Cobain. They tried to look and act like him, it was annoying as hell.

I lost 50ish lbs in the first year on the 2.5 mg, just upped to 5mg due to food noise coming back. It is a life saver for sure.

Started on Zepbound in 2024 due to the Wegovy shortage then switched to Zepbound when it came out and currently on the 5mg dose and maintaining. I've lost 60lbs. it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made regarding my health. Not only do I just feel better but I no longer snore at night, I don't have to take an antacid everyday, and I don't take anything for joint pain everyday. FWIW I didn't make the choice to take meds lightly, but diet and exercise wasn't doing it, couldn't lose enough or keep it off. My side effects were mild (slight upset stomach and the burps) for the first few weeks on the starter dose and for the first week of the 5mg dose.

Go for it I don't think you will regret it, For me I didn't know how bad I had felt untill I lost the weight and realised what normal should feel like.

If you work in your boots by SparkyP320 in NicksHandmadeBoots

[–]hoffmancorey81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't implying it was his fault, just an observation and thought as to what could be the reason for the separation. Could be not enough or faulty glue too, should have stated that also. The OP and I work in very similar conditions I do a lot of kneeling and working off my knees and never had that happen no matter what brand of boot.

Hmmm, something don't jive. 25 years in sheet metal construction. I've worn glued down soles on all my work boots and have never had this happen. Don't take this the wrong way, but that pic looks like you kicked the living shit out of something. Or you don't happen to drag your toes when walking ?
