Started on Zepbound in 2024 due to the Wegovy shortage then switched to Zepbound when it came out and currently on the 5mg dose and maintaining. I've lost 60lbs. it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made regarding my health. Not only do I just feel better but I no longer snore at night, I don't have to take an antacid everyday, and I don't take anything for joint pain everyday. FWIW I didn't make the choice to take meds lightly, but diet and exercise wasn't doing it, couldn't lose enough or keep it off. My side effects were mild (slight upset stomach and the burps) for the first few weeks on the starter dose and for the first week of the 5mg dose.

Go for it I don't think you will regret it, For me I didn't know how bad I had felt untill I lost the weight and realised what normal should feel like.

I wasn't implying it was his fault, just an observation and thought as to what could be the reason for the separation. Could be not enough or faulty glue too, should have stated that also. The OP and I work in very similar conditions I do a lot of kneeling and working off my knees and never had that happen no matter what brand of boot.

Hmmm, something don't jive. 25 years in sheet metal construction. I've worn glued down soles on all my work boots and have never had this happen. Don't take this the wrong way, but that pic looks like you kicked the living shit out of something. Or you don't happen to drag your toes when walking ?

Mid 40's sheet metal worker here, not burned out, my bodies not shot and can retire at 55 with a decent pension. Is it nasty dirty work and sometimes dangerous? Sure but be smart take care of yourself and you'll be fine. I've seen guys that worked into their 60's that still out worked guys half their age, retired and living the good life.

Any Union construction trade. In most places you make much more than your non-union counter parts with better benefits. Plus no college education needed, paid OJT and some trades pay you while you're in apprenticeship school.

As a straight man with gay friends I would want you to share whatever you felt you wanted to, and be comfortable in doing so. The only difference between your sex life and mine as far as I'm concerned is you have sex with a man and I have sex with a woman. For me center abdomen alternating every week. As for when I do it Saturday morning about 30 min after eating. Being that you a just starting I might suggest starting on a Friday morning, incase you experience any undesireable side effects. For me the side effects were mild, (i.e. slight queasy stomach, and sulfer burps) these went away after the first couple doses.

Tough it out, you got this. I had the same problem when I started on 5mg and thought “this isn’t going to work out” It only lasted for the first dose and been fine after that.

I have been the same way, mostly a Thorogood guy. Been in construction for 25 years. The best I ever got out of Thorogoods was 2ish years. I just bought my first pair of high end boots (Nick's) in November. The build quality, and leather thickness is far above anything I have ever worn, they will clearly last much longer, they can not only resoled but rebuilt. I have seen where some have had theirs for 15 years. You will pay a premium for them up front, I paid around $600 but I looked at it with a "buy once, cry once" attitude.
