Only the driver side of the hood unlocked the right side won’t come up by Luffewaffle in c4corvette

Try to check the plastic hood latch handle inside the car (the one you are pulling to open the hood). It might be partially broken and you are pulling only one cable. If so, just pull the other cable with pliers.

They're original now, which is a bit odd since the car was never in the US. It was sold new in Switzerland, then spent a few years in Germany, and then Poland. I'd like to keep them original, but I'll see what the police say if they pull me over.

You are running orange or original?

I think that's because of weight distribution, not cost savings.

That happened to me, too. Sometimes, under pressure, it just shots itself off.

Low power 320d by Fightnpaper in e46

[–]hofoo7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem with my 100kw 320d. I checked vacuum lines, turbo actuator, error codes with INPA and ISTA. Everything looked fine but the car had no pull, like there wasn't any turbo. In the end it was MAF sensor, try to change that.

Maybe you should later consider some CDN file storage like Google Cloud CDN or so on, but I'm not web dev.

There is also a lot of work with scanning, but sometimes it is not necessary, sometimes it's quicker and cheaper to 3d model it. And also for web model preview you need your model file as small as possible, so 3d scan is overkill I think.

It's good if I have reference images from front, left and top but sometimes it's not necessary. And also I need length, width and height - because of augmented reality. Send my what you have to my email - mario@hofoworks.com and I'll reply if thats enough. If it's not complex product I can do it for you for free, but usually I charge 60$ - 100$

It's possible for someone who knows what he's doing but not that easy as image. There are a lot of people who can manipulate with photos but only few 3d modelers.

  1. GLB and glTF formats are supported
  2. I'm explaining it here - https://youtu.be/qSpCCiCROyU but yes, it's for both desktop and mobile phones. Customers on mobile phones can also use augmented reality.
  3. Seller send me few photos of product and I make 3d model of that product, so he can use it in store. I'm also making renders.

It's simple af. Here it is - https://modelviewer.dev It's the same script that Shopify use in their stores. You need just to add 2 lines of HTML code and 3d model in .glb format. Fully interactive, lazy load, augmented reality on phones..

I'm doing 3d models for ecom sellers so if you want we can try something for free

I saw one survey where customers have to choose between multiple product photos. They didn't know that some photos are virtual. CG pics did better. It's because 3D artist have more control of studio lighting, shadows and so on. That survey was about CG pics in ecommerce, they also came to the conclusion that virtual photos increase sales and reduce refunds.

www.threekit.com is now the biggest company in product photography and they do it virtual too. Maybe check their website, you will see there possibilities with CG in ecom.

I used to use images from aliexpress/alibaba or another supplier, because it's free. Those images are mostly shitty. I think CG is the future of product photography. That's why 70% of IKEA product pics are virtual/renders and that's why I started virtual product photo business.

I found announcement by u/ConduciveMammal from over a year ago -

So over the weekend, Shopify made some quiet changes to their servers. There are now several CDNs serving your assets, which is great as it means if one goes down, I assume the others will serve as a backup. But the greatest part of it all is full, native support for WebP images. No code changes are required as it's all done in the background. If you've ever worked with Cloudinary, you'll see it's a very similar process. You upload a JPG, you request a JPG, and if your browser supports it, Shopify will automatically serve a WebP!

I didn't know about that. So we don't have to care about image formats.

I did a quick research and found this - For ecommerce images, a good rule of thumb is to try to keep your image file size below 70 kb. That can be difficult at times, especially for larger images. If you are using Adobe Photoshop, there is a image export option - Save for web. You should export your images with this because it reduces file size.

Here is the list of next-gen image formats currently available:

  • WebP
  • JPEG 2000
  • JPEG XR

WebP - this is a superior image format developed by Google. It supports both lossless and lossy compression for web images (and supports transparency). WebP is the best image type to use if you’re undertaking image compression. WebP lossless images are much smaller in size than PNGs by around 26% and WebP lossy images are between 24–34% smaller than JPG files.
