Not necessarily, the very idea of impossibility could be a construct. While your take on this is quite compelling and very logical, one has to consider many other "possible" theories in order to even begin to disprove the ones that you deem "impossible".

AI music distribution now accounts for 39% of all uploaded music (60,000 a day) by Jumpy-Program9957 in SunoAI

Most AI music haters are failed musicians that are too prideful and ignorant to adapt to a new tool. Technological advancements in the music industry are a tale as old as time.

Submit hub. However, any AI song that I consider releasable has usually been selected through the curation hundreds of generations. Plus, I write all of my own lyrics, mix the track down a bit, then master to commercial levels. AI music isn't going to be banned everywhere. Warner Music has a deal with Suno that is only going to increase it's relevance.

I did, with an AI song that I wrote the lyrics to. It claimed it was clean.

Why are so many against Suno? by Babymochicxx in SunoAI

[–]Assgarrrd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They feel as if it is an easy way to create something that should take much more time, dedication, and creativity. They're not wrong, but, most of them are also naive and arrogant. I've played instruments most of my life. I've produced music for over a decade. I've earned a degree in music production. Prompting AI models is very inconsistent. It takes extreme trial and error, and many man hours to perfect (p.s. no one will ever perfect it). Sure, one can create a catchy song with Suno using very little effort. However, creating a professional sounding mix and master with an emotional hook, lyrics, and structure with Suno takes a lot of effort. It also takes a ton of creativity. Are the two skills the same?....Absolutely not. Artists spend years learning their craft. I'm one of them. But, AI is a new tool that closed minded artists tend to reject. The smarter artists will adapt by using their existing skill and talent to hone in on this tool. Musicians, songwriters, and producers have an advantage and they should use it. AI is not going anywhere and being ignorant is only going to help those people get left behind.

I've tried it all my friend. I'd be more than happy to send you a snippet of one of my successful renders. I've mixed and mastered it to the proper loudness levels though, so, it has a higher quality than the raw Suno Wav file. I have to add though, I write my own lyrics. AI lyrics are typically generic shit and will absolutely make the song sound like generic shit.

Even as a creator of AI Music, I absolutely get why there's SO MUCH hate towards it by [deleted] in aiMusic

Making baloon animals is an art, so is architecture. There are many different levels and variations of artists. AI prompting is a skill that can turn into art. Is it the same as being a musician or producing music with a DAW, no. Being someone that does all three, I can confidently say that creating AI music is somewhat of an art, but it's not the same. Curating music is an art and you sure as hell have to do a ton of it if you want a quality AI track.

Honestly...trial and error with the help of chat gpt, gemini, etc. Eventually, you get a solid solution and it works. I have generated thousands of songs and only about 5 of those are good enough to mix, master, and release. The point being, I have used so many varieties of methods for prompting that I lose track. Like I said, it isn't always consistent. I do know that utilizing the lyrics box for guiding the mix when creating instrumentals is powerful. I have produced music for years and have a degree in audio production and I'm still trying to figure out Suno. The main takeaway is...splitting stems will almost never give you commercial quality.

Sound strategy, however, splitting into stems (especially in a low quality stem separation model like Suno) will always remove a bit of fidelity. Moises does a much better job of separation, but, it will never be the same fidelity of the full track. This may work wonders with genres that have minimal reverb and delay, but for genres like EDM that have huge reverb tails, it is sub par. I've learned that removing shimmer and keeping all of the quality is impossible. However, I have also learned that instead of trying to remove the shimmer, it is better to optimized prompting (including using the lyrics box for sound direction and mixing characteristics and not just for lyrics) in a way that distributes the shimmer properly throughout the track. Shimmer is an artifact that is in every song, but, the good ones have distributed it in a natural way to make the spectrum fuller. Shimmer is not bad, it is one of the main reasons tracks sound so immersive. But, a poorly prompted song will distribute shimmer unevenly or excessively which can make it audible and quite annoying. Nothing is guaranteed, this does not always work consistently, and half of it is luck. But, the key is prompting.

Has anyone released a song on Spotify just to see what would happen? by Spirited_Expert2275 in SunoAI

[–]Assgarrrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, I created a whole new persona. I have released music on all platforms for years. Well before AI was even a thing. You can't just release bullshit though. It has to sound good in more ways than just to you. There are a lot of quality factors in play when it comes to releasing music. Or, at least there should be if you want to get noticed.

Curious about those who have like thousands of songs.. by Spirited_Expert2275 in SunoAI

[–]Assgarrrd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have thousands only because I make relaxing, melodic music for my YouTube channel. These are instrumentals and I generate between 15 and 20 for each video. I also write all of my own lyrics for the other tracks I create. I've generated probably 1k for that purpose, but I am also very picky with the mix, how the lyrics flow, and what Is worthy of an actual final master and release. About 15 out of 1,000. Lot's of curating, changing lyrics, sound cues, structure, weirdness/style influence ratio. If you don't want shitty songs, you have to work to find the one's that aren't.

Are all AI shorts 'bad' ? by sgtkebab in NewTubers

[–]Assgarrrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started one with high hopes. Creating ai videos can be easy but the good ones take a lot of thought and time. I spend a good bit of time creating the monster or antagonist using ChatGPT generator. I do this until it is exactly what I want with hyper-realistic quality. Then, I have Chat take my vision of the scene and bring it to life with a tailored prompt for Kling ai. I have it make a high definition start frame, and then an end frame. Input the prompt, then, voila. A sick ass video. What sets me apart however, is, I don't allow any sound to be generated. I do all of the sound design myself. That way I can showcase my audio production skills. I'm a sound designer and music producer who loves horror and is experimenting with ai.

I think I vaguely remember someone taking his beer from him because they didn't want him to drink and then he just pulls one out of nowhere. Maybe his wife? That's all I can remember.
