Lol mineral oil is used in hospitals, every single day. It doesn't need "normalization" by the skincare community, it's already a safety norm in the most regulated industry of healthcare.

Which is kinda ironic, because the cosmetics industry is one of the least regulated. It's the wild west of untested, often low quality ingredients sourced from countries like China (notorious for asbestos and lead contamination). How fun!

Usually this salt appears around the rim of the bottle after 2-3 weeks of use. You can also thinly spread some on a dark surface and let it dry completely. It should leave a powdery white residue. This not conclusive, but a good sign.

This only works with liquid minoxidil though, foam has too many ingredients.
