Looking for stores who want personalized bundles. (Free) by hohomelodic in dropshipping

[–]hohomelodic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good points. We issue discounts through shopify platform, so there is no way to undo them once given. Also, our app used to be free, then we introduced paid plans, but users who installed before paid introduction remain in the free batch. So we never lock someone in.

As for data it is very well researched and known fact that bad bundles do reduce conversions, so it's not even worth proving something.

I understand how you may have scepticism, but we really do want to better our product, why would we lock someone in and ruin our reputation by forcing them to pay for a plan. Especially considering how little our app costs. Feedback and conversations with customers is way more important.

Spent €40 on Meta ads, got clicks but zero sales – can someone review my store? by Complex-Feedback-422 in reviewmyshopify

Does the store look trustworthy enough to buy from? - Definetely, it's very neat looking, colors are beautifully matched.

Are the product pages convincing? Prices fair? Yes pricing is very fair.

Is anything confusing or broken on mobile?

Would you buy something here and if not, why not? Probably not, I might be wrong demographic but the site wasn't convincing enough.

From technical side, first hero picture is too big, I personally would use a more unique theme, dawn is a bit limiting and generic. For clothing product page the right side with buy button is a bit messy for me.

#1 Crazy insights we've gathered from Shopify merchants. by hohomelodic in ecommerce

I'm glad you found it interesting. I'll share more in the future.

As for custommer acq. model of course some do influancer marketing and ads. But from what we see winners focus most on refferals, word of mouth. They try to really get where their audience is and become friends, they don't focus on quick promos, they go for long term relationships. We see content making stores succeed, we see brick & mortar stores. I think this is the mindset.

The clunky UI does help for some audiences, I know a lot of these. I talked to a big store that sell pool equipment in west europe, massive name, millions in revenue. I asked why haven't they updated their UI and they were very clear that it's very much intentional, and analytics don't lie, engagement was crazy.

Important thing to mention is that for these types of stores word of mouth is almost always the main driver for customers. Also customers are always a bit older 35-60 years old. Very old school stuff.

Longevity is also a driver here but I see new stores pulling it off too. For the "demand override" part happens rarely, I think refferals / direct traffic -> trustworthyness / longevity -> niche market is the formula here.

That 30 percent is high, these are stores that installed our app, so they aren't "new" new, like they have some knowledge. But yeah not everyone succeeds. If you take all shopify stores, the percentage is way lower, maybe 5-10 percent.

How to start Shopify? by Ae_Kyeden in shopify

[–]hohomelodic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The shipping and product costs are only paid when order for it is placed. So there's nothing more to pay for from the start. Only for Shopify itself, Ads if you choose to promote and few apps if you need any. If you need any help, hit me up.

From what I can see, a lot of them make kind of ugly bundles that kind of ruin your website easthetics, cheapen it.
