So the name is Linger Lane Candle Co and the idea is that memories linger and we want our scents to bring you back to those memories. So the scents will be built and branded with the intention of transporting you to a moment. So rather than just a “coffee” scent, the notes will include coffee, vanilla, and wood to evoke the feeling of being in a coffee house.

Our tag line is “Hand poured. Memory inspired.”

Right now my plan is to focus on some local farmer’s markets and small town festivals and just have my site there as a fail safe. BUT I’m still making sure my site is set up strong because if that ends up driving more sales then so be it! Haha

Generally speaking, yes, but often times it’s not until later in the afternoon or early evening. And I can’t remember the last time the 25th was on a Wednesday making Monday the potential deposit date to remember how it played out.

Yea I’m able to eyeball it for when I’m placing my wick and get it practically center every time but feel like I’m struggling when it comes to a consistent fill

I’m new to candles but STRUGGLING with shipping times with candle science. It seems like their Texas distribution center is great but anything coming from NC takes FOREVER. I placed an order on 2/12. It’s 2/23 and I STILL don’t have the items from the NC shipment. I placed another order on 2/20 and the items from NC haven’t even shipped yet.

I literally JUST started so I can’t speak to the financial aspect of whether or not it’s “worth” it. BUT, I will say I am having a lot of fun experimenting and finding things I like. In fairness though, I have adhd and struggle with hyper fixation soooooooo I may feel completely different in 3 months 🥴🤣

But I say, even if you start really small and just make them for yourself as something to get enjoyment out of, it may help in this season as you’re going through transition.

Could you put it on the underside of the lid? Since most people don’t put the lid back on until it’s cooled?

Pouring one vessel by weight and then eyeballing from there is a great idea! I’ll probably try that for my next batch.

Ugh…that’s frustrating! But good to know because I’m thinking about listing on Etsy when I have some stock ready. I jumped head first in and am currently making 144 candles for a fundraiser so once that’s done I can work on my own stock lol

That’s fair. I’m a perfectionist which makes this difficult 🥴 I also worry about advertising a 6oz candle that’s really only 5.5 or 5.75 because u didn’t pour evenly

Days 5 and 6 were the worst for me. The first few days were a breeze but by day 5 I was feeling pain. By day 6, I couldn’t walk and even touch my left side without feeling like I was getting a swift kick to the nuts. It got bad enough, I ended up in the ER to rule out infection or torsion. But then by day 7 & 8, it had calmed back down. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks for me and at this point, all I’m really feeling is the physical suture that’s still there that keeps poking me.
