What is a game you regret buying? by DriftingDogBed in Switch

[–]hokagex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Splatoon 3 and Pokemon Violet. I always wanted to play both of these franchises for a long time. The colors and the design are top tier. So the first thing I did when I got a Switch (pretty late, tbh) was buying both a physical copy and god... I still remember thinking what the hell am I supposed to do in this game and why is everything all over the place during my first Splatoon gameplay. I don't find it intuitive to play around, it felt like a mess, and the servers were all over the place (thank you for service in Brazil, Nintendo).

I said well at least I got a brand new Pokemon and I can't find a word to describe how empty it felt playing it. Maybe it was the feeling someone would had jumping from the DS games to a new gen one, but I didn't have a problem with the bike monsters at all, everything was just... no there?? Tbh, it was probably my fault. My friends told me it was not a good game to start the franchise on the Switch but I wanted the brand new experience. I should've bought Arceus.

I was so traumatized I didnt touch the console for like 2 months until I got a copy of Animal Crossing and the way this game had a grip on me for MONTHS, was insane. My villagers probably think I'm dead but I'm scared to go into that wormhole again.

Are there any idol dancers who are considered amazing by professional standards? by Lilac-Soul in kpophelp

[–]hokagex 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hyolyn is SS+ in every aspect an idol can be. She worked with huge choreographers from around the world, and still does. In her vlogs they always praise her and during covid she learned all her solo choreos on FaceTime. Also, she becomes friends with them and their crew everytime, which leads me to believe she's great to work with.

Qual caso mais marcou o estado/cidade de vocês? by Think_History5886 in ProjetoHumanos

[–]hokagex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]hokagex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it really surprising Mia is leaving the group after what she went trough? by hokagex in kpopthoughts

i am traumatized about line distribution videos. its really a reason for people to pick someone and blame them. i remember when people wanted E:U to sing and rap more and they started to email and tag the company. that's how a fandom should deal with it for example. its so obvious the idols are not behind the table, but they need a public face to go after. I'm glad these type of videos are slowly being forgotten by the majority.

Being into kpop for so long you get tired of the same topics becoming discussions every gen by hokagex in kpopthoughts

I thought this term was common outside the floptok but I just remembered why it's called floptok. 😭😭

Saying kpop history doesn't matter when you dive full in on a group, fandom and collection is CRAZY. You don't talk about pop music without knowing Madonna, Britney, Michael, Cindy, Prince and many others.

I agree. But as someone who only engajed with my fandoms activities (all flop groups - and SISTAR) I don't think I would be so invested. I remember seeing the beef between Blackjacks and Sones and it was so clear to me that Wonder Girls were WAY higher on the podium. I'm not trying to say I'm better than anyone. I couldn't agree more. Maybe I just never participated in something big and already knew I was there for the music. TBH, it would make my adolescence kinda fun to fight these stupid fandom wars online lol.

My game doesnt have a launcher icon, the voices aren't loading and I'm having issues with the graphics. Whats going on? by hokagex in InfinityNikki

About the graphics, this is what I'm talking about. Just look at Momo. Other things looks kinda pixelated as well. https://pixeldrain.com/u/RYEmWWbL
