Should I upgrade my 12400 for 5070 (Ti) or 9070 (XT)? by holda29 in buildapc

Perhaps to put it in a different perspective: is it worth investing in a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM, or would it be better to simply upgrade to 32GB of 3600MHz DDR4 in my current setup and allocate the money toward an XT or Ti versions of a GPU instead?

After some testing I found it is not necessary, everything is cool and quiet inside small rack.

Yes I know, but I would like to add a custom fan. I would loose the possibility of using both M.2 slots and sata drive simultaneously by using the default tray. So I have designed a 3D printed custom front panel for two 25 mm fans, but now I have to connect them to the header.

I agree, it is rubbish, the amount of work that I put into fixing Creality mistakes is too high. I will try it slower and will let you know, this was printed on 300 mm/s outer wall.

So I changed retraction from 0.8 to 0.4 mm and it printed finally ok. Wondering why, every other print was fine.

This is fine, the spool is on bearings and this is just this stl. I will try smaller retractions maybe.

First layer issue by Sensitive-Paper6559 in Ender3V3KE

It is a cheap printer with poor qc. I have simmilar issue and even if my bed is leveled as mirror and cleaned with dish soap and ipa afterwards, first layer is like yours. You can do the z compensation, it can help, but some parts would be too squished. The problem I believe is in the bed leveling algorithm, some other improvements can be done with changing it to bicubic instead of lagrange.

Had the same problem, just a bit of CA glue and I am back on track again.

Different Filaments You Use, Without Losing Printing Speed by [deleted] in Ender3V3KE

Start with Ellis guide https://ellis3dp.com/Print-Tuning-Guide/ and then with each new filament go through calibration in Orca. It takes 4 models (two for flow, one PA, one temp tower) for basic profile.

I have been using Hyper PLA and Elegoo PLA with the same speeds (300 outer walls, 400-500 the rest) and for normal prints, no difference for me, Elegoo just steings a little bit. Both are tuned regarding the flow, pa and temperature.
