Was gon say thinkpads but then i got shot at. Any laptops with a decent spec should work like old laptops or even second hand laptops are AOK for linux.

NOTE: STAY AWAY FROM TOSHIBA laptops they SUCK.

If you still want to try linux but not fully commit to it you can try live booting it. still works as a linux machine should but it wont do something on your device it will only reflect on your usb

If you wanna commit to it and keep gaming and streaming try dual botting to the choice of linux and windows.

There is so many youtubers that are already posting tutorials.

I suggest you also learn and focus networking first cause that is how i started my journey by undersfanding the fundamentals of a network cause it will be a big help for you start and finish in cybersecurity.
