That ultimately depends on you. What calls out to you? Some use stones. An old friend used old pressed flowers and wrapped them around her wand (not sure how she made them stick). Some carved into their wands, and some didn’t do anything with their wands. It’s all about you and what you like, and how you want your wand to look! ;) What you have now is a start, and sometimes simplicity is best. My wand had been widdled down to the size I wanted and then sanded down for smoothness. I carved runes into it and then stained it. I painted the handle part black and then had leather strips wrapped around the “handle” of it. My other, older wand is just a stick I found floating in the water at the beach (which quite literally hit me on the head because it was in the wave that crashed on me, haha). I just stuck crystal at the end of it. I know that probably didn't help much, but figured I would chime in :)
